A fire rating of A1 is achieved by using fire-resistant support panels in combination with a 5.0 mm layer of HPL. Each application may require approval, depending on the country.
The following support panels are available with HPL:
Gypsum-fiber industrial panels are A1 non-flammable, rugged, and and safe for the environment. Industrial panels satisfy the highest standards of impact- and fire-resistance – to protect the walls of clinic hallways and other public areas, for example. Also suitable for humid spaces.

· 12,5 mm = 15,6 kg/qm

Silicate fire-resistant panels (A1) for structural fire protection in building- and industrial construction. The mineral filler makes the panels insensitive to moisture, dimensionally stable, and self-supporting. For partition systems and the construction of closets, for example, that have special demands for fire- and thermal protection.
The panels can be shaped with commercial woodworking tools.
