High-pressure laminate, our most durable material, is extremely versatile. We always get an expressive image with a slightly matte surface, on any kind of supporting panel. Compatible with a variety of other surfaces. These flat laminates are produced according to DIN 438 – international standard ISO 4586. The laminate is formed using heat and pressure to glue together several layers of resin-impregnated paper. On top lies the decorative layer of choice. Finally, an overlay is pressed on as the topmost layer. HPL is impact- and abrasion-resistant, not easily scratched, easy to maintain and clean, heat- and light-resistant, as well as odorless. It is insensitive to alcohol or organic solvents.
Thickness of the laminate itself adds 0.5 - 1.8 mm to the carrier plate of choice.
